PrivacyCo-ops collect a lot of personal information from people in the course of doing business. From membership applications to occupancy agreements and subsidy programs we ask a lot of personal questions. We need to provide some of the information to other people and agencies.

Rules have been set up that tell us what we should be asking for and what we should be doing with the information we collect so we protect people’s privacy.

What should we be asking for? What shouldn’t we be asking for? What should we do with the information we collect?

This workshop will help staff understand what is required, what is not, and what cannot be asked.

This will be an interactive workshop.  Bring your co-op’s application form and let’s take a look at it.

Light refreshments will be served at 12:30 pm.
